Financial Aid

Ace Tech Institute is an educational institution approved by the State of Michigan Department of Education for various state run financial aid programs. We offer options including grants and attractive student loans.

We are fully approved for the following programs:
  • Grants under the Workforce Investment Act (WIA)
  • Grants under the Trade Agreement Act (TAA)
  • Grants under the Department of Veterans Affairs
  • Michigan Department of Vocational Rehabilitation
  • Private Vocational Rehabilitation Claims for injured workers
We also offer attractive student loan packages through SLM Financial, also known as SallieMae.

There are numerous advantages to SLM Financial student loans:
  • Easy online application
  • Low interest rates
  • Up to 15-year payback terms resulting in very low monthly payments
  • Generous living expense allowance -- up to $6,000 cash
  • 12 months deferral -- only $10 monthly payments the first year
  • No prepayment penalties

Since these loans are credit-based, not everyone will qualify. Those who are credit-challenged are invited to submit a SLM Financial loan application with a co-signer. The student loan itself can include the entire tuition plus an additional 60 percent of the tuition to cover living expenses, so students don't have to worry about their bills while they are attending the two- or four-week program.
